Blake Griffith blasted a three-run home run posting five total RBI to lead Oakland to a 12-5 win and doubleheader split in home opening action at the Oakland Baseball Field on Saturday.
Cameron Fuller notched his first career save going 4.0 innings with five strikeouts while
Ronnie Krsolovic also hit a three-run home run with
Matt DiLeo going 2-for-4 with a RBI double and two-run single.
The third inning proved to be the difference as Oakland (6-20, 5-6 HL) nearly batted through the line up twice posting nine runs in an inning for the second time in the last three games. With two outs, Griffith got Oakland going with his three-run shot.
Ryan Fitzgerald reached on an error that would have ending the inning for Milwaukee (16-11, 5-5 HL).

Mario Camilletti scored off a wild pitch, DiLeo delivered a two-run single up the middle to give the Golden Grizzlies a commanding 12-3 lead.
In game one, Milwaukee hit a staggering seven home runs and never looked back to win the series opener comfortably. Fitzgerald accounted for Oakland's only run off a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning.
