STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Colin Sikkenga matched his career low round of 71 (E) in the second round of play as the Oakland men's golf team concluded the first day of competition at the Rutherford Intercollegiate on Saturday.

Sikkenga, who shot an opening round of 73 (+2), is currently tied for 14th place with a score of 144 (+2).

Marc Norton shot a 148 (+6) and is tied for 35th place while Thomas Giroux carded the lowest round for the Golden Grizzlies with a 70 (-1) in his opening round.

Oakland currently is tied for seventh place and will begin the final round of play tomorrow at 8 a.m.
