ROCHESTER, Mich. – The OU men's golf team hits the road for the first time this season, traveling to Wisconsin to play in the Badger Invitational. 

The two-day tournament will start with two rounds on Monday, Sept. 22, followed by one round on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the TPC Wisconsin in Madison. A shotgun start is set for Monday at 7:15 A.M. (CT), with Oakland teeing off on the tenth hole beginning at 8:10 A.M. (CT). 

This year's Badger Invitational will have 14 teams participating: Wisconsin, DePaul, Green Bay, Illinois State, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Oakland, Southern Illinois, Southern Mississippi, Toledo, UTSA, VCU, Valparaiso, and Xavier. Oakland returns to the Badger Invitational for the first time since the 2017-18 season, where they finished 12th out of 16 teams.

Oakland's starting lineup includes Jack Zubkus, Brennam Sullivan, Rakshit Dahiya, Ellis Kinnaird, and Matteo Rocco. Dahiya will make his first collegiate team debut after finishing 14th overall at the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate as an individual. The team will golf alongside Green Bay and Valparaiso on the first day.
