BLUFFTON, S.C. -- Chris Handy shot back-to-back rounds of 75 (+3) and currently sits tied for 47th with a score of 150 (+6) as the Oakland men's golf team completed day one of competition at the Colleton River Collegiate Monday.

Thomas Giroux carded an even-par round of 73 in the opening round and finished the day tied for 58th at 152 (+8), while Sean Niles shot a 73 in the second round. Niles finished the day at 154 (+10).

As a team, the Golden Grizzlies shot a pair of 304 (+16) rounds and are currently in 13th-place at 604 (+32).

The final round will begin tomorrow at 8 a.m.
