ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland tennis team will open up Horizon League play this weekend when they take on IUPUI Friday and UIC on Saturday.
 
The Golden Grizzlies (6-6) will open up the weekend against IUPUI Friday, March 22 at 5 p.m. at the West Indy Racquet Club.
 
Oakland will close out the weekend against preseason favorite, UIC Sunday, March 24 beginning at 2 p.m. (ET). The Flames (9-4) are riding a seven game win streak and have won eight of their last nine matches.
 
Oakland was selected to finish third in the 2019 Horizon League preseason poll, the highest spot the Golden Grizzlies have been voted to finish since joining the Horizon League.
