GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Brad Brechting recorded his third double-double in five games with 15 points and 15 rebounds as the Oakland men's basketball team fell to Green Bay 66-54 Thursday night at the Resch Center. Brechting is averaging 20 points and 11.2 rebounds per game in his last five games.

Xavier Hill-Mais scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while James Beck added six points and six rebounds.

Both teams struggled to make shots as the two squads each shot 31 percent from the floor in the first half and under 20 percent from three-point range.

At the half, Oakland (11-16, 7-7 HL) found itself down 27-22 as Green Bay (13-13, 7-6 HL) extended its lead by going on a 12-0 run to open the second half.

Oakland held Green Bay without a field goal for the final 8:50 of the game, however, Oakland's offensive struggles continued, committing a season high 27 turnovers and shooting a season low 35 percent from the floor.

The Golden Grizzlies will return to action for their final regular season road contest Saturday, Feb. 16 at Milwaukee.
