Jalisha Terry who poured in a game and career-high 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field and 3-for-5 from 3-point range as the Golden Grizzlies toppled Chicago State, 98-70, en route to their second straight win on Saturday.
Sydney Gouard scored 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting while going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line along with seven rebounds while
Autumn Kissman added 14 points on 7-for-9 shooting.
Brianna Breedy also matched her career-high with 13 points while dishing out four assists with four rebounds while
Alona Blackwell chipped in with 12 points.
Kayla Luchenbach just missed a double-double grabbing a team and career-high 10 rebounds with eight points.
Kahlaijah Dean also added four of Oakland's 19 total assists.
For the game, the Golden Grizzlies shot a blistering 52 percent from the field and went 20-for-25 for an 80 percent clip at the charity stripe.
The second quarter proved to be the difference as Oakland took control of the game opening the frame with a 12-2 run outscoring the Cougars 31-15 overall to take a 49-26 lead at the half and never looked back.
In the second half, Oakland continued to look inside for production scoring 28-of-46 total points in the paint.
