ROCHESTER, Mich. --
Taylor Dellinger recorded a career high 29 kills with a .319 hitting percentage as the Oakland volleyball team dropped a hard-fought five set battle with Green Bay Friday night in the O'rena. Dellinger was just one kill shy of tying Meghan Bray's single match school record of 30 set in 2009.
Jamie Walling added 15 kills and hit at a .306 clip, while also registering seven digs and five blocks.
Brittany Welch added 12 kills and 20 digs.
Kenzie Dunn handed out a career high 25 assists and recorded six digs and two kills.
Defensively,
Lindsay Wightman notched 30 digs or more for the fourth time in her career, leading Oakland with 32.
The Golden Grizzlies (7-8, 0-3) will return to action tomorrow to take on UIC at 4 p.m. inside the O'rena.
