KALAMAZOO, Mich -  Rachel Levy continued her dominance in the one-mile (4:59.50) as she took first place by more than 12 seconds ahead of the runner-up. She also placed second in the 3000m with a time of 10:12.57. Chanel Gardner and Gabby Cyriax recorded the two other first place finishes for Oakland as Gardner took the 200m with a time of 26.07 and Cyriax took the weight throw with a toss of 53 ft., 2.25 in.
 
 The Golden Grizzlies came up short against Western Michigan as they fell 85-49.
 
Whitney Mergens placed runner up in the high jump by a mark of 5 ft., 3 in. and Emily Schaub, Angela Ciaravino and Hannah Coverdill placed second, third and fourth in the 60m hurdles, respectively.
 
Oakland will continue competition next weekend, Jan. 11 at Central Michigan University.
