HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Kent. - Nikita Telesford scored a team-high 15 points going 6-of-9 from the field with six rebounds while LaKyesha Stennis added 11 points as Oakland fell 72-50 at Northern Kentucky on Sunday.

Kahlaijah Dean and Chloe Guingrich also chipped in with six points each.

After a 15-13 first quarter, Oakland (4-16, 1-8 HL) fell behind Northern Kentucky's (5-14, 4-5 HL) hot shooting in the second and third quarters as the Norse outscored the Golden Grizzlies 41-25 hitting 5-for-8 from behind the arc to pull ahead for good.  

Oakland continues its road swing at Youngstown State on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m.
