Schedule of Events 
 
ROCHESTER, Mich. -  Oakland Track and Field will return to action on Jan. 11 at the Central Michigan Jack Skoog Meet inside the Indoor Athletic Complex. The field events are set to begin at 3:30 p.m. while the track events start at 5 p.m. Competing teams include: Oakland, Central Michigan, Calvin College, Alma and Olivet.  
 
Last weekend at the Women's Western Michigan Ice Breaker Dual, Rachel Levy placed first in the one-mile with a time of 4:59.50 while Gabby Cyriax placed first in the weight throw with a toss of 53 ft., 2.25 in. In addition, Chanel Gardner placed first in the 200m finals by a time of 26.07. In the head to head dual meet, the Golden Grizzlies fell to the Broncos 85-49.
 
Last year at the Jack Skoog Meet Andrew Bowman placed first in the one-mile (4:21.19) and the 3000m (8:48.35) while Madison Leigh claimed the women's one-mile with a time of 5:09.53.
 
Jimmie Williams won the 400m with a time of 49.71 and went on to also win the 4x400m race with teammates Corey Goodloe, Andrew Storm and Tyler Brenner.
