HENRYVILLE, Ind. -- Thomas Giroux shot a two-round score of 139 (-5) to finish with a three-day total of 213 (-3) as the Oakland men's golf team concluded competition at the Fuzzy Zoeller Invitational Sunday at Champions Point Golf Course. Giroux's second round score of 69 (-3) matches an individual round career low and his 3-under par final score of 213 is a new career low under-par. He finished tied for 12th place.

Chris Handy led the Golden Grizzlies with a 211 (-5) to finish tied for seventh place and also shot the lowest round on the team with a third round score of 68 (-4).

Oakland will resume its fall season Oct. 8-9 at the Cleveland State Intercollegiate.
