INDIANAPOLIS -- Oakland's
Braden Norris has been named Horizon League Freshman of the Week for the week of Nov. 26 through Dec. 2 announced by the league office Monday.
Norris, a Hilliard, Ohio native, continued his hot shooting from three-point range, going 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and finishing with 14 points and eight assists on Dec. 1 at Xavier. Norris is now 18 of 22 (82 percent) from three-point range in his last five games. The freshman guard also matched a career high three rebounds.

Norris, who committed just one turnover in 37 minutes of play against the Musketeers, leads the Horizon League and ranks fifth in the NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio at 5.43. He is the first Oakland freshman to earn a weekly honor from the league since the 2016-17 season.
