ROCHESTER, Mich. --
Jordan Lentz just missed recording her second career triple-double with 42 assists, 17 digs, nine kills and four blocks as the Oakland volleyball team topped UIC in a five set thriller Saturday at the O'rena. Lentz also had a hitting percentage of .350.
Jamie Walling and
Krysteena Davis led the Oakland offense recording 19 and 17 kills respectively. Walling also had eight digs and two blocks while Davis had a team high .432 hitting percentage plus six blocks.
Abby Neidinger added nine kills, five digs and three blocks while
Jessica Riedl added five blocks and three kills.
Lindsay Wightman registered her second career match with 30-plus digs by recording 33 on the day, which is tied for the sixth most in a match in school history. Wightman also added eight assists from her libero position.
Maddie Lentz added 10 digs as well.
Oakland (9-14, 5-7 HL) has won three of its last four matches and will head to Wright State on Oct. 31 for a midweek contest with the Raiders before returning home Nov. 2 against first-place Green Bay for senior day.
