OAKLAND FALLS IN STRAIGHT SETS TO WRIGHT STATE

The Golden Grizzlies will return to action Friday for senior night against Green Bay

DAYTON, Ohio -- Krysteena Davis recorded seven kills and eight blocks as the Oakland volleyball team fell to Wright State in straight sets Wednesday night at C.J. McLin Gymnasium.

Jamie Walling led all Golden Grizzlies with nine kills and added two digs, one block and one service ace. Mackenzie Schneider registered six kills, three blocks and two digs. Lindsay Wightman led the Oakland defense with 13 digs while Jordan Lentz added 10 digs.

The loss was Oakland's first since 2009 against Wright State, snapping a 13-game winning streak against the Raiders.

The Golden Grizzlies will return to action for its senior night match Friday, Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. against Green Bay inside the O'rena.
