DAYTON, Ohio --
Chris Handy shot a 68 (-3) in round two and closed with a 75 (+4) which totaled for a combined three-day score of 211 (-2) and placed runner-up as the Oakland men's golf team concluded the final day of competition Tuesday at the Dayton Flyer Invitational. Handy finished just one stroke back from the individual champion.
Marc Norton also carded a 75 on the day and finished with a total score of 223 (+10) which placed him tied for 38th. The Golden Grizzlies finished in eighth place with a three-day score of 885 (+33).
Oakland will close out its fall season Oct. 22-23 at the Muskies Classic hosted by Xavier.
