DAYTON, Ohio -- Chris Handy shot a three-under par 68 and is tied for the lead as the Oakland men's golf team concluded a shortened day one at the Dayton Flyer Invitational.

Thomas Giroux shot a 72 (+1) while Marc Norton followed with a round one score of 73 (+2). Oakland as a team carded a round one score of 290 (+6) and currently sits tied for third place just five strokes behind first place Davidson. 

Round two play was suspended and will resume tomorrow at 10 a.m.
