Amanda Nilsson defeated WMU's Gabriela Slavova in a competitive No. 6 singles match, 7-6 (5), 0-6, 10-5 for the Black and Gold's lone win of the afternoon.

The Golden Grizzlies return to the court Saturday, Jan. 28 to take on Eastern Michigan at the Chippewa Racquet Club in Ypsilanti, Mich.
