ROCHESTER, Mich . - Men's basketball player Kay Felder has been named Oakland's Student Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 1-8 after recording three straight double-doubles at Northern Kentucky, Youngstown State and Cleveland State.

Felder, a junior from Detroit, Mich., averaged 18 points and 12 assists over three games, scoring 13 points and dishing out 11 assists at Northern Kentucky (Feb. 1) during a 85-74 win. He scored 17 points and handed out 14 rebounds at Youngstown State as the Golden Grizzlies won 107-85 (Feb. 4). On Feb. 6, he scored 24 points and recorded 11 assists during a 67-57 win over Cleveland State.

The Golden Grizzlies (17-8, 9-3) have recorded six straight victories and have won eight of their last nine games, six of which have come on the road. They return to action for a pair of home games against Milwaukee on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. and Green Bay Feb. 13 at 3:00 p.m.
