INDIANAPOLIS - Oakland midfielder Austin Ricci has been named the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week, for the week of Aug. 31 - Sept. 6, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Ricci, a sophomore from Newmarket, Ontario, scored two goals including the game-winner in overtime giving Oakland a 3-2 victory over No. 26 Navy (Sept. 4) snapping the nation's longest unbeaten streak at 13 games. Ricci also added an assist in Oakland's hard fought setback at No. 17 UMBC (Sept. 6) for a weekend total of five points to earn Westin/Sheraton BWI Classic All-Tournament Team honors.

Oakland continues its three-game road swing with a match at Dayton on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.
