KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Oakland's Tamara Blum came back from a first-set deficit to post a victory at No. 3 singles Saturday afternoon in a 6-1 loss to Western Michigan at the West Hills Athletic Club.

Blum dropped her opening set 6-2, but then answered with a second-set victory by the same score. In the tie-breaker, Blum kept her momentum and finished with a 2-6, 6-2, 10-2 win.

In doubles, Karine Celis and Camille Hemond-Hill gave Western Michigan's No. 1 doubles team all it could handle before falling, 6-4.

Oakland is back in action Saturday, Feb. 14 when the Golden Grizzlies travel to Western Michigan for a 7 p.m. contest.
