LOGAN, Utah - Reggie Hamilton led the way with 23 points and Travis Bader finished with 22 as Oakland (20-16) fell at Utah State (21-15), 105-81, in the semifinals of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason tournament in Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Sunday. The Aggies shot a season-high 64 percent in the game (37-58), including 12 of 16 (75%) from three.

Corey Petros led the way on the glass, grabbing 10 rebounds and finished with four points. Ryan Bass reached double figures for the Grizzlies with 12 points and Drew Valentine added 10 before fouling out.

Preston Medlin finished with a game-high 26 points for the Aggies, going 4-for-5 from behind the arc. Brockeith Pane tallied a double-double with 20 points and 10 assists, while Danny Berger made a career-high 5 of 6 treys, scoring 15 points for USU.

Utah State came out on fire in the first half, making 9 of 11 3-pointers and shot 71 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes, taking a 60-43 lead at halftime. The Aggies led by as many as 21 points in the half, but the Golden Grizzlies countered with an 11-2 run to get as close as 11 points.

OU scored the first five points of the second half, but the Aggies continued to knock down three after three and the Golden Grizzlies could not get within single digits. Berger and Medlin combined for nine 3-pointers in the game.

The Golden Grizzlies end the season with an overall record of 20-16. OU reached the postseason and won 20 games for the fourth consecutive season. Oakland also set a new Summit League record with three postseason wins during its run to the CIT Final Four.
