REDFORD, Mich. - Freshman Liz Ecker carded a career-low 78 (40-38) and senior Nikki Swan shot 79 (36-43) to lead the Oakland University women's golf team to a dual match win over the University of Detroit Mercy, 318-326, on Friday at Western Golf and Country Club (Par 72, 6,460 yards).

UDM's Alainna Stefan was the medalist on the day with a score of 77 (39-38). Ecker finished second and Swan was third. Junior Austin McDermaid fired an 80 (41-39) to finish fourth, while junior Lauren Gardner finished with a score of 81 (39-42) to post a fifth-place finish for the Golden Grizzlies.

OU will be back in action at the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational April 14-15 at Stone Ridge Golf Course.
