Carmel, Ind. (Sept. 25, 2006) ???C Freshman Frank McAuliffe (Ann Arbor, Mich.) had the best round of his young Oakland golf career in the first round of the Butler Fall Invitational today. He fired a 68 to stand atop the leader board after the first round of play, with his score leading the Golden Grizzlies to a first-place standing in the team race. OU shot a 293 in the first round, leading the tournament by nine strokes.
