Rochester, Mich. (Dec. 15, 2003)???C Senior Jason Perry (Southfield, Mich.) continues to receive well-deserved accolades for his role in a successful Oakland men???s soccer season that saw the team reach the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year. This is perhaps the most prestigious for Perry, who was selected as a 2003 NSCAA/adidas Men???s NCAA Division I Third Team All-American. Perry, a two-time All-Great Lakes selection, led all Oakland defenders with six assists this season. He was named Mid-Con Defensive Player of the Year and was also a first team all-conference selection. He co-captained an Oakland defense that held opponents to 0.80 goals per game. Perry has been invited to participate in 2004 Adidas Major League Soccer Player Combine from Sunday, Jan. 11, to Tuesday, Jan. 13, at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
