Dermidoff

Evan Dermidoff

Evan Dermidoff took over the duties as the department's athletics academic advisor in September of 2010. He assists Golden Grizzly student-athletes achieve their academic goals, helping to develop programs that enhance the awareness of career exploration, provide guidance using tutorial assistance programs and connect student-athletes to campus resources.

Before accepting his current position, Dermidoff spent four years working as an academic center monitor at OU, where he assisted the management of daily study center operations for the student-athletes. In that role he also helped assist student-athletes with tutorial service and the utilization of on-campus resources.

Before arriving at Oakland Dermidoff worked as a Community Sports/Program Coordinator at the Warren YMCA. He also served as a as an athletic department graduate intern with the University of Michigan and was an account executive with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Demidoff has a bachelor's of arts in human resource management from Michigan State University. He also holds a master's degree in athletic administration from Xavier.
