In 2017, Naubert joined the program as a graduate assistant, and the following year, he was asked to lead the Chippewas’ video department as coordinator. The next year he was promoted to the position of the Director of Basketball Operations.

Naubert played professional basketball in Germany for two years where he earned First-Team All Eurobasket.com award. While in Germany, he also coached 17-U Germany Academy team.
