Materializing into the Golden Grizzlies' No. 3 starter over the second half of the season, he finished the year with 16 appearances (9 starts) and went 4-4 with a 7.64 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and a 32/29 K/BB ratio over 53 innings
Picked up his first career win against the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons on April 6 and earned his first victory as a starter by going 5 innings in the nightcap of the April 20 doubleheader with the Youngstown State Penguins
Turned in quite possibly his best start in the Horizon League Tournament on May 25, working 6.1 shutout frames against the Northern Kentucky Norse and allowing just 3 hits while striking out a pair
