- Made 43 starts all at shortstop
- Ended season hitting .321 and slugging .432
- Finished second on the team with 27 RBIs and third with three home runs
- Tied for first on the team with 12 doubles
- Ranked in the Horizon League's top-10 in hitting, slugging and doubles
- Ended season as the 21st-toughest batter in the NCAA to strikeout
2013:
- Played in 47 games, making 41 starts
- Hit .265 in 151 at bats
- Had five extra-base hits and drove in 17 runs while scoring 19 times
- Academic Honor Roll selection
High School:
- Played three years of varsity baseball at Andrean High School
- Helped AHS win its second straight title in 2010 and earned the team's Rookie of the Year honors
- An all-area player in 2011, he was a two-time all-conference first team selection and the
- Batted .400 in his junior year at AHS, drving in 27 runs and hitting six doubles
- During his first two seasons at Andrean the team went 57-11
- Played summer baseball with the Hammond Chiefs out of Hammond, Ind.
- Was team co-captain for the Chiefs, batting .422 with three triples, six doubles and a .978 fielding percentage.
