AT OAKLAND (2021-22)
  • Named 2021-22 Horizon League Co-Player of the Year, the seventh Golden Grizzly and the eighth total award
  • Four-time Horizon League Nike Player of the Week
  • 2021-22 Lou Henson All-America honoree
  • Started in 30-30 games while leading the team in average points (19.9) and average rebounds (10.2)
  • Finished the season as the only Horizon League student-athlete to average double-digits in both categories
  • Established a career-high 32 points against Detroit Mercy in a win (Feb. 13)
  • Reached the 31-point mark in the team's loss to Alabama (Nov. 19)
  • Boasted a 20-20 game in Oakland's road win against Green Bay with 26 points and 21 rebounds, a career-high (Jan. 22)
  • Went a perfect 14-14 from the free throw line against the Phoenix (Jan. 22)

SENIOR (2020-21)
  • Opened season with 16 points and six rebounds in win over UAPB (Nov. 25)
  • Finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds against Oklahoma State (Dec. 1) for first career double-double
  • Chipped in 12 points and eight rebounds against Seton Hall (Dec. 17)
  • Shot 6-of-11 from the field en route to 15 points against Villanova (Dec. 23)
  • Netted career-high 25 points at Georgetown (Jan. 2) on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor, including 4-of-5 from distance
  • Knocked down game-clinching trey to put MU up four points in final minute
  • Shot 6-of-9 from the floor against St. John’s (Jan. 31), finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, three steals and an assist in 35 minutes
  • Chipped in 10 points and seven rebounds against Butler (Feb. 2)
  • Scored 11 of his 14 points in the first half against Creighton (Feb. 6)
  • Collected second double-double with 14 points and personal-best 14 rebounds at Butler (Feb. 17)

JUNIOR (2019-20)
  • Appeared in all 30 games, earning one starting assignment
  • Played 27 minutes in a Gavitt Tipoff Game victory over Purdue (Nov. 13) and posted six points and seven rebounds
  • Pulled down a career-best 12 rebounds in 27 minutes and added eight points, three assists and a pair of steals against Jacksonville (Dec. 4)
  • Chipped in career-best 17 points in road win against Kansas State (Dec. 7)

SOPHOMORE (2018-19)
  • Played in 29 games and made three starts as a sophomore
  • Averaged 1.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game
  • Posted seven points and six rebounds in the season opener against UMBC (Nov. 6)
  • Started three early-season games against Presbyterian (Nov. 17), No. 2 Kansas (Nov. 21) and Louisville (Nov. 23)
  • Played a season-high 27 minutes against Southern (Dec. 28) and notched season-bests of eight rebounds and four steals.
FRESHMAN (2017-18)
  • Played in 34 of 35 games as a true freshman, contributing 4.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game
  • Finished fourth on the squad with 26 3-pointers made and his 47.3 3-point percentage was second
  • Made his collegiate debut against Mount St. Mary's where he totaled 12 minutes, three points and one rebound (Nov. 10)
  • Notched 10 points and five rebounds against Chicago state in 22 minutes, while shooting 50 percent from the floor (Nov. 29)
  • Posted eight points and a rebound against Georgia (Dec. 2)
  • Set a career high with 16 points, shooting 4-of-6 behind the arc and 5-of-8 from the floor against Xavier (Dec. 27)
  • Went 3-of-4 from the field and hit a pair of three-pointers against Georgetown for eight points (Dec. 30)
  • With seven rebounds, Cain set a career high against DePaul, also notching eight points on the night (Jan. 15)
  • Scored eight points and grabbed five boards against No. 1 Villanova (Jan. 28)
  • Scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds in the win over St. John's (Feb. 21)
  • Posted 11 points and nabbed six rebounds in the opening round of the NIT against Harvard (March 14)
HIGH SCHOOL

  • Ranked as second-best player in state by The Detroit Free Press
  • Concluded his prep career with over 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds
