KENT, Oh. - The Golden Grizzlies will have to wait longer for a return to play, as their match at Kent State has been cancelled, and ruled a no contest, after ongoing weather delays.
The game was originally slated to begin at 6 p.m., but never reached kick-off due to lightning in the area. After more than an hour wait and no progress in the forecast, both squads determined to rule the match a no contest.
Oakland's next opportunity to hit the pitch will be at home on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m.
