ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland Men's Basketball team is back for a two-game homestand in the OU Credit Union O'rena as they first play host to the Green Bay Phoenix on Friday, Feb. 20. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
Despite forward Isaac Garrett making a return back from injury, Oakland (14-13, 10-6 HL) fell to Robert Morris, 93-69, at the UPMC Events Center Sunday afternoon.
Senior Ziare Wells scored 19 points and recorded three steals as senior Brody Robinson added 16 points and dished out seven assists, marking his fourth consecutive game with at least 16 total points. The junior Garrett collected seven rebounds and contributed a block in his first game in three weeks. Fifth-year Michael Houge finished with 11 points and four rebounds before fouling out, continuing his streak of double-digit points in seven consecutive games.
Robinson is getting national attention for his marks in assists and free throws this season. The point guard is ranked 11th in the NCAA in total assists (175 assists) and 15th in assists/game (6.5 apg). From the line, the Houston native is third in the country in three throws made, netting 177 shots from the line this season as he is second in the country in free throw attempts with 225 tries.

SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
Marcus Hall scored a career-high 32 points as the Green Bay men's basketball team fell to Milwaukee 75-72 on the road Sunday. The Phoenix now sit in a tie for third place in the league as they had three players pick up double figures at Milwaukee, 12 points from Preston Ruedlinger, and C.J. O'Hara helped out with 10 points. Green Bay is leading the league in scoring defense (75.1 points/game) in conference games this season.
The Golden Grizzlies throttled Green Bay at their place in January, 88-63. Naivalurua led the team with 26 points, a new career high in his three seasons for the Black and Gold, and recorded a double-double with 10 rebounds. Garrett contributed significantly with 17 points and matched Naivalurua with 10 rebounds, as Wells scored 14 points and excelled defensively, picking up three steals.
