Back-to-Back Meets for Swim and Dive at Home to Start Season

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University's swimming and diving team returns to action this weekend for the 2025-2026 season. Kicking off the season at home, the Golden Grizzlies will have their Black vs. Gold Intrasquad meet on Friday and the 42nd Annual Alumni Meet on Saturday.

The annual Black vs. Gold Intrasquad meet returns at 6:30 P.M. on Sept. 26, which gives spectators a preview of the upcoming season and the Golden Grizzlies' newest additions to the team. Each team will have 27 swimmers and divers representing either Team Black or Team Gold, promising friendly competition, laughter, and OU pride across the pool deck.

Less than 24 hours later, the Golden Grizzlies will be right back competing in the 42nd Annual Alumni event at 3 PM. OU swim and dive alumni will have a chance to relive their college experience as they jump back into the pool for bragging rights against the current team. Right before the event, the 2024-25 team will have a ceremony at 1:45 PM to receive their Horizon League Championship rings. The ceremony will honor not only the previous year's championship, but also the achievements of 47 consecutive men's conference championships and 31 consecutive women's conference championships.

Come support the swimming and diving team at the OU Aquatic Center as they kick off a new season and begin the pursuit of another conference championship.
