ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland University swimming & diving team has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring an exciting slate of dual meets, invitationals and championship competition as the Golden Grizzlies prepare to defend their conference dynasty at the Horizon League Championship.

Oakland opens the season at home on Sept. 25-26 with intrasquad and alumni meets, welcoming former Golden Grizzlies back to Rochester for the Oakland Ray Miller Alumni Meet on Sept. 26.
The Golden Grizzlies will open competitive play against conference opponent Youngstown State on Oct. 2-3 at home.
In their following stops Oakland will then take on a pair of Big Ten opponents, facing Purdue on Oct. 30-31 before coming home for a Nov. 6 matchup against Michigan, and a roadtrip to Columbus, Ohio, to compete against Ohio State on Nov. 18-21. The Golden Grizzlies will also host Eastern Michigan in a women's-only meet on Nov. 19.
Oakland returns home Dec. 2-5 to host the annual Golden Grizzly Classic, providing the Golden Grizzlies with a key opportunity to compete against a strong field in front of the home crowd.
The new year begins with a road trip to Ohio on Jan. 8-9, where Oakland will compete against Denison and Miami (Ohio) in a dual meet. The Golden Grizzlies then return to Michigan for a Jan. 23 matchup at Wayne State before hosting Cleveland State on Jan. 30 in their final home meet of the season.
The season culminates with the Horizon League Championship on Feb. 17-20, as Oakland looks to put together a strong postseason performance and compete for conference championship glory.
With a demanding schedule that features multiple Power Four opponents, competitive dual meets and opportunities to race at home, the Golden Grizzlies will be tested throughout the 2026-27 campaign as they set their sights on the Horizon League Championship.
