STATE COLLEGE, PA – Men's Golf rounds out competition at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, placing 9th, against a competitive field.
In their final tournament before the Horizon League Championship, the Golden Grizzlies put together a solid showing at Penn State. As a team, the Golden Grizzlies compiled a team total of 886 (+34), with round totals of 296, 301, and 289.
The team was led by sophomore
Ben Willis, who finished the weekend 221 (+8). After a rocky second round, he finished strong, with his final round with par (73-77-71). Willis finished 31st individually on the weekend.
Matteo Rocco was close behind, finishing 32nd with a total of 222 (+9). Similarly, Rocco put together an impressive final round, shooting par. The Golden Grizzlies all finished within the top-50 individually.

The Golden Grizzlies prepare for the 2025 Horizon League Championship April 19-21. It will be hosted by Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. in collaboration with the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. The men's and women's championships will take place on the El Campeon course.
