ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland Women's Soccer's Nicole Grimaldo has been selected for the U.S. Women's National Team futsal team camp, a huge accomplishment in the Soccer community, showcasing the elite level of talent in the Golden Grizzlies program.

A freshman, class of 2025 signee, Grimaldo has an exceptional futsal resume at a young age as a member of the National Futsal Premier League (NFPL) and  U.S. Youth Futsal (USYF) league. 

In the NFPL she was the Golden Ball Winner, the award for the league's best player, during the 2022-23 season. She also led the league in assists and was named to the All-NFPL Women's First Team.

In the USYF, she led her team to the regionals six times over her career, as well as a nationals appearance once.

She becomes the third collegiate student-athlete who has played under Oakland Head Coach Devin Zvosec to be named to this year's National Team Camp.
