ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland volleyball is set to face Wright State for the final Horizon League series of the regular season this weekend, Friday and Saturday Nov. 14 and 15 inside McLin Gymnasium. Friday's match will start at 6 p.m., while Saturday is scheduled for a 2 p.m. ET first serve. Friday's match will be available to stream on ESPN+.
The Golden Grizzlies are now 7-9 in the Horizon League after being swept in the series against No. 1-seed Northern Kentucky last weekend on the Blacktop. Opposite hitter Caroline Moore picked up a career-high 14 kills on Friday, while tabbing on nine from the right side on Saturday. Outside hitter Libby Smith tacked on 13 kills to inch closer to career-1,000 in her first weekend back after some time on the sidelines. In the back row, Lyse Bates was solid, totaling 26 digs in each match to bring her career dig total to 711.
Oakland is ranked second in the nation (first in the Horizon League) in team attacks/set with 39.36, totaling 4,005 swings for 8th in the NCAA.

SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
Entering the final weekend of the regular season, Wright State has clinched a top-three seed in the Horizon League tournament. The Raiders lock up the No. 2 seed with two wins or one win and at least one IU Indy loss as they were originally picked to win the Horizon League in the #HLVB Preseason Coaches Poll. The Raiders are third in the league with 16.82 kills/set off of a collective .214 hitting clip.
Wright State holds a slight lead in the all-time series with the Golden Grizzlies, 16-15, and have won eight of the last 10 meetings.
