ROCHESTER, Mich. - After a hard-fought weekend series against Milwaukee, the Golden Grizzlies volleyball team is back in action as it looks for its first league win as it heads to Cleveland State tomorrow (Oct.1), with first serve set for 6:00 p.m. ET, before Robert Morris visits the OU Credit Union O'rena for a weekend series.

Oakland dropped both matches against Milwaukee at home in five, as the team nearly came back in its weekend closer Saturday, down two sets to one, but couldn't complete the comeback and fell. Oakland took the first two sets on Friday against Milwaukee before it dropped the next three in a trio of thrilling sets, followed by winning sets one and four in Saturday's match before it fell in five.

Tyler Linkhart, who leads the Golden Grizzlies with 144 kills, led Oakland in its two matches with 24 kills and hits at a .193 clip.
Gentry Brown was close behind with 22 kills as her and Linkhart are the only two Golden Grizzlies with 100+ kills with her 134.
Emily Wichmann leads the team with 263 digs and accounted for 59 on the weekend, as she also led the weekend with four service aces.

As a team, the Golden Grizzlies have tallied 652 kills with a .198 hitting percentage, as its opponents hit at a .223 clip with 705 kills. Oakland tallies 1.4 aces per set as the team has a total of 96.0 blocks, 3.5 more than its opponents.
