ROCHESTER, Mich. - Softball's Reese Ruhlman and Esports' Aidan 'Whale' Cay earn this week's OU Prairie Farms Student-Athletes of the Week awards.

Ruhlman continued a hot start to her season for the Golden Grizzlies on the diamond. The graduate student from North Branch, Mich. swatted four hits in four games for Oakland as they competed in the Indiana Invite. Her biggest came against Dayton on Mar. 11 where she went a perfect 3-3 at the plate and scored a run as Oakland bested Dayton 3-1. Ruhlma ranks second on the team in batting average (.300) and leads the team in stolen bases (2). Her combination of speed and hitting has been a huge catalyst for the team thus far.

Cay earned the weekly award for the Esports team, returning to the starting lineup for the Rocket League Team where he lead Oakland to victories over GVSU (3-0), Akron (3-2), and Davenport (3-0). Cay's big performances in his triumphant return helped Oakland place third in the Saints X Colleague Invitational.
