SAGINAW, Mich. - The Golden Grizzlies Track and Field team saw 19 members place in the top-five as 11 set a personal best as the team wrapped up its regular season at Saginaw Valley at the SVSU Tune Up this afternoon.

The team showed out in the 200m race on both the men's and women's side as the team grabbed a pair of first place finishes. On the men's side,
Julian Bailey secured the win with a new best time of 21.75, while the Golden Grizzlies women's team grabbed first, second and fourth in the race.
Ke'vina Finch crossed the line in front with a time of 25.25, as
Jaylin Washington was close behind in second with a personal record of 25.70. Senior
Shirelle Linzy rounded out the trio in fourth with a new best time of 26.21.

Also on the track, but in the 1 Mile Race, both
Genavieve Kushner-Lopez and
Haileigh Bissett crossed four and five, both with personal bests, with times of 5:14.44 and 5:17.13, respectively. On the men's side of the race,
Wesley Hollowell crossed the line with a new best time of 4:12.97. A slightly shorter distance, this time 800m and on the women's side,
Karenna Duffey dashed to the finish line and crossed it in first.

Shirelle Linzy and
Emon Miles raced side-by-side in the quick Women's 60m Hurdles Race, as they both set new times with 8.86 seconds and 9.19 seconds and finished second and fourth. To round out personal bests inside the oval was
Anne May who competed in the Women's 3000m Race and finished in 11:06.39, a new best time.

On the field,
Elizabeth Rice set a new best distance in the Women's Shot Out with 10.40m, as
Alex Mansfield finished third on the men's side. The Golden Grizzlies best finish on the field came from
Alexa Messina in the Women's Pole Vault event as the junior vaulted to a height of 3.46m.

The Golden Grizzlies now prepare for the Horizon League Indoor Championships which will take place next week (Feb. 24-25) in Youngstown, Ohio.
