GREENWOOD, Ind. - College Sports Communicators have named their 2024 Women's Soccer Academic All-District Teams, naming Oakland star Shannon Brown to the list.

The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the pitch and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Brown makes the team for her second consecutive season, adding to her tall list of accomplishments in the classroom.

The junior midfielder started 16 of her 17 games played in 2024, playing a team-high 1,473 minutes in 2024, scoring one goal and taking the second most shots on goal (13) on the squad.
