Women's Soccer Goes on the Road for Final Time as they Take on IU Indy

ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Golden Grizzlies are ready to take the pitch for one final time on the road, as they head to IU Indy to take on the Jags.

Oakland had a rough outing in their last game, falling 0-4 on the road to Cleveland State on Oct. 20.

Despite a stretch of rough games, the Golden Grizzlies' hopes of reaching the Horizon League Championship are not washed out yet. With a pair of wins in their final two games, and some help around the league, Oakland could still sneak into that sixth seeded spot.

They will be taking on an IU Indy team that has lost two of their last three games, including a 0-2 loss to Milwaukee on Oct. 20. The Jags showcase some of the best goalkeeping in the league, with a conference-best 96 saves on the season, 81 by keeper Ashton Kudlo.

The Golden Grizzlies have dominated IU Indy in all-time matchups, holding a 20-4-1 record. Oakland has one 10 of the last 12 meetings between the squads, and even emerged victorious 2-1 last season. They look to extend a record of over 15 years, as the Golden Grizzlies have not lost a game in Indianapolis since 2009.

The Jags and the Golden Grizzlies will battle it out in a late season match on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m., streaming on ESPN+.
