ROCHESTER, Mich. – Coming off an impressive 3-0 win over Cleveland State to open Horizon League play, the Oakland men's soccer team plays host to Northern Kentucky Saturday, Sept 16 at 1 p.m. from the Oakland Soccer Field presented by OU Credit Union. Saturday's match will be broadcast on ESPN+.

NKU enters Saturday's game looking for its first win of the season. The Norse opened Horizon League play in heartbreaking fashion, falling to Robert Morris, 2-1 on Sunday. NKU took an early 1-0 lead in the 29' minute, with Robert Morris scoring the equalizer in the 77' minute. The Colonels found the back of the net with just three seconds left to play to secure the victory.

The Norse are coming off a 2-1 road loss to Bowling Green on Tuesday. NKU's
Sam Robinson continued to anchor the Norse offensive attack as he netted his second goal of the 2023 season. Robinson has now scored in back-to-back matches and increased his NKU career total to 10 overall. Â
