Wildcats Defend Home Turf, Defeat Oakland

ROCHESTER, Mich. – On Thursday night, Oakland University Women's Soccer was bested by No. 18 Northwestern University in Evanston 7-0.

After the first frame, Oakland held the home Wildcats to a single goal at the 26th-minute mark as the team defended nine attempts by the purple and white with three saves. 

In the second half, Northwestern put up 12 shot attempts on goal to generate six additional goals to their total as the Golden Grizzlies would fall in Evanston.
