Rochester, Mich. - After a very successful weekend at the #HLXC Championships, Cross Country Student-Athletes Yami Albrecht and Grace Nolan are named the OU Prairie Farms Athletes of the Week!

Grace Nolan, a graduate student from Clarkston, MI, lead the Women's Cross Country Team to their first #HLXC Championship win since 2019. Nolan finished the women's 6K meet in third place, the highest of any Golden Grizzly, with a blazing time of 21:11.42. Her amazing performance, coupled with her overall dominance this season, also earned her All-League First Team honors after the race.

Graduate Student Yami Albrecht also had himself a day at the championship meet. Albrecht, just like Nolan, placed third overall with a time of 24:15.01. Albrecht was the first Oakland runner to cross the finish line and spearheaded the men's team to a third place finish overall. Albrecht also earned more than a top three finish on the day as he was named to All-League First Team after the race as well.
