Rochester, Mich - The Golden Grizzlies look to have another standout performance as they face Louisville in an exciting prime time matchup.

In their last matchup, Oakland beat Horizon League opponent Wright State in a landslide 5-0 victory behind strong performances from several key players.

Senior midfielder Owen Smith notched two goals in the match, bringing his total to five goals on the season and ranking him seventh in the Horizon League. Fifth year forward Mikey Ketteman also chipped in with his seventh goal of the season, tying for the most goals scored in the Horizon League. Ketteman also added two assists in the match. Junior forward Luke Benford continued to be Oakland's premier set-up man, also distributing two assists against Wright State, moving him into a tie for third most (4) in the Horizon League this season.

This matchup between the Golden Grizzlies and Cardinals is rare, having only one matchup all-time. Oakland secured the win in the sole matchup, taking a 2-1 victory at Louisville almost exactly two years ago on Oct. 19, 2021. 

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS

Louisville is fresh off a 1-0 victory against ACC opponent Boston College, where Louisville's leading goal-scorer, sophomore Damien Barker John, scored his sixth goal of the season, placing him in a tie for seventh in the ACC. Despite an impressive 8-3-2 overall record, the Cardinals place fourth in ACC standings due to a 2-3-1 record.
