ROCHESTER, Mich. – A standout guard for the Oakland Golden Grizzlies women's basketball program from 2005-09, Jessica Pike will be part of the six-member 32nd Annual Hollie L. Lepley Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony.
Hailing from nearby Clawson, Michigan, Pike was a three-time All-League selection during Oakland's days in the Mid-Continent Conference/The Summit League and finished her career with 1,485 points, good for 11th on the school's all-time list and highlighted by a 490-point junior campaign in 2007-08.
Pike averaged 15.5 points as a senior, her third consecutive year in double figures, and shot 47.4 percent from 3-point range, the best single-season showing in program history, and 89.8 percent at the free throw line, the second-best mark ever.
For her career, Pike was the third-best free throw shooter the program has seen at 85 percent (232-273).
The Golden Grizzlies finished with a winning record in each of Pike's final three seasons with the program, culminating in a 26-7 (16-2 Summit League) showing in 2008-09.
Held at the Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac, this year's induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, February 4 at 6 p.m. Tickets to the induction ceremony, which include admission to the men's basketball game the same day against the Cleveland State Vikings at 1 p.m., can be purchased
