ROCHESTER, Mich - The Oakland Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving team will be competing on the road at Miami Ohio this Friday, September 30th at 4:00 pm at the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic center in Oxford, Ohio.

This is the third swim meet of the non conference season this year for the Golden Grizzlies. In their previous Wayne State meet Oakland out-swam the Warriors with a combined team score of 204-54. The men's team beat the warriors 100-22, and the women's team beat the warriors 90-32. 

Additionally, both the Golden Grizzlies men's and women's swimming and diving teams received the top number of first place votes in the #HLSD poll for the 2022-2023 season. Both teams received 36 votes coming in first out of the six teams. 

SCOUTING REPORT

This will be the first CO-ED meet for the Redhawks this season. The Redhawks were 6-4 for the season last year. The men's team came in first place for the MAC Championships last season in Carbondale, Illinois competing against six other teams. The women's team came in third at the MAC Championships in Bowling Green, Ohio.
