MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Oakland University Women's Tennis fell in a close Horizon League match to the Milwaukee Panthers Saturday afternoon in Wisconsin.

Yasmin Glazbrook and Nirva Patel held a 6-4 win after the number one doubles position as Liza Mladentseva and Jillian Milano secured the doubles victory for Oakland following a 6-0 route of their respective opponent.

Four of the six singles matches would go into three sets as Tegan Heaton would grab a 6-4, 6-4 win at the number five spot after the Golden Grizzlies dropped the number six match to tie things up at 1-1.

The Panthers would go on to win the two and three singles matches with the lead at 3-2 before Milano would halt the Milwaukee win streak, winning at the number four hole 6-3, 3-6, 6-2. The home Panthers would finish the match and the win with a three-set victory as the number one match finished.

The Golden Grizzlies are now 2-3 in Horizon League play going into the final regular season match against UIC on Sunday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m.
