CHICAGO, Ill. – All three of Oakland University Women's Tennis' victories came in three set battles as the team would fall to UIC 4-3 in the final regular season contest in Chicago on Sunday afternoon.

The Flames would steal the doubles victory but not before Liza Mladentseva and Jillian Milano would have anything to say about it as the duo won 6-3 at the number two spot for their eighth win in a row.

Oakland would play the singles matches close as Mladentseva rebounded after yesterday's loss to win at the number one hole over her opponent in three sets 6-4, 4-6, 10-4 while Tegan Heaton clutched a three set win as well in 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 10-5. 

The last Golden Grizzlies singles victory came with Emma Hultqvist at the six spot, also in three sets, 6-7 (2-7), 6-4, 10-7. 

Oakland will await its opponent for the 2022 Horizon League Women's Tennis Tournament slated for Friday, April 29.
